The member representing Boki State 2 State constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Hillary Bisong has been charged to support progressive and people oriented legislations and not those that will promote self aggrandizement aimed at enriching a few.

The lawmaker was given the charge by a delegation of his constituents from Ekpasi Ward in Boki LGA, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Calabar recently.
The leader of the delegation, Omang Emmanuel, while applauding Hon. Bisong, described the victory of their representative as one with a pointer of total support and acceptability.
Omang pledged that Ekpashi and the constituency at large are solidly behind Hon. Bisong.
While commending the effort of his guests, Hon. Bisong said the struggle during his election was collective, thus, his actions will be communal also, adding that there is absolute need for the group and others to work hand in hand to achieve greater heights for the Boki nation.
Hon. Bisong said he was prepared to work with other political parties for the good of his constituency because election is over and leadership is beyond political parties.
He cautioned them not to be deceived that he will focus his attention on Ekpashi alone because he hails from there, but that his effort and interest will spread across all the political wards that make up his constituency.
They delegation presented him a souvenir.
