Some farmers in Dadinkowa dam in Gombe State have caught a massive hippopotamus this morning, Thursday, August 6, 2015.
According to @naziru_muktar who shared the photos on Twitter, the hippopotamus had been terrorizing some farmers in the community and they decided to hunt it down.
They got the animal after more than a week of being after it.
A huge python was found in Alagbole Odo bridge, Ogun state on Thursday, June 11, and was subsequently killed.
